Discussion of this excellent Batman graphic novel that re-booted the whole franchise.

What did you guys think of it?

Notice any things in it similar to the current movie series?

I quite liked the series, slightly more realistic (except when it got to Superman) and quite dark and gritty

Hmmm I have read some of it

I quite like the Joker portrayed in this one, he's just as psychotic and the white suit is a slightly different image to other ones made

I have been planning to get this soon and I have seen bit's and pieces

I heard the tumbler is similar to the comic's batmobile and the batman imposters are like the sons of batman in the comic.

I've heard great things about it and will get it as soon as I can

Yeah the Tumbler is quite similar, I think the book was one of the many which the two films were based upon

A friend of mine borrowed me his comedy and I loved it which is rare for me as I don't really read comics or enjoy them

I like the concept of an older Batman and the interpretation of the Joker with homosexual aspects towards Batman

Love the whole thing, i may buy it

Yeah, I heard there were numerous references to him having this homosexual lust for Batman which I find quite interesting

one of the best things i noticed was in batman begins, where batman uses the bats as "back-up" this was used in the dark knight returns. had a "geek-asm" when they used that in the movie.
